Educational Visits To South Africa For Students:
This is a great opportunity for students of all ages to have a hands-on experience and immerse themselves in the rich culture, history, ethnic diversity and incredible wildlife South Africa has to offer. During one of our 11-day/10-night packages, students will have the unique experience to spend 5 evenings under African sky in a private lodge whilst being educated by our professional guides on the magic of the African bush veld. Thereafter, students will visit the mother city of South Africa, namely Cape Town (often voted as one of the most beautiful cities in the world), and surrounding areas for an in-depth education on the history and culture of South Africa.
During their stay in South Africa students will:
- Broaden their minds and world views by being exposed to the diverse African cultures, ethnic backgrounds and social classes.
- Enjoy hands-on experience of working in the bush while gaining in-depth knowledge on the endangered animal species of Africa.
- Contribute to ecotourism and indirectly to job creation in the area.
- Play an active role in the leopard conservation project by collecting data in the field through sightings, tracking and documenting behavioral patterns.
- Visit poverty stricken areas/shanty towns as well as the local schools to learn about the true living conditions within the majority of Africa.
- Depart South Africa with a greater appreciation of how fortunate we are and how much we have to be thankful for living in the United States.
